Blooming Mom-to-Be Iza Calzado is Thrown a Baby Shower
Iza Calzado’s friends throw her an intimate baby shower at Okada Manila as she and her husband Ben Wintle await the arrival of their baby girl.
Iza has been one busy mom-to-be since she and her husband Ben Wintle confirmed the pregnancy last year. Ahead of the arrival of their baby girl (whom they lovingly call BunBun), Iza Calzado’s close friends threw her an intimate baby shower held at Okada Manila last January 7.
Several friends led by Divine Lee, Lifestyle Asia editor-in-chief Candy Dizon, She Talk Asia co-founder Lynn Pinugu, Valerie Beggs, and actress Cheska Inigo organized the event with the help of Cristalle Henares-Pitt and Dr. Vicki Belo.
Iza’s manager and showbiz columnist Noel Ferrer also shared some photos of the gathering.
Time is currency
Since announcing her pregnancy, Iza has been kind enough to share milestones and moments she has with family and friends. Divine Lee, who is based in Cebu and flew to help out during the baby shower, quoted Iza’s message about getting reconnected with everyone.
“Time is a currency. We should appreciate when people give us time because it’s something we can’t get back”, Divine shared on Instagram.
Iza has also thanked several people who made the event possible including the sponsors.
Baby Wintle is expected to arrive sometime in late January or February. We cannot wait to meet little BunBun soon.
