Cherie Gil’s Children Post Heartwarming Messages After Her Passing

Cherie Gil’s children Jay, Bianca, and Raphael remember their mom who died last August 5.

Cherie Gil’s children posted heartwarming messages on their social media accounts after the passing of their mom. She died on August 5 after battling cancer.

Jay Eigenmann, her son with Leo Martinez, wrote: “I love you so much, mom.”

His siblings, Bianca and Raphael, Cherie’s children with Rony Rogoff, remembered their mom and shared photos on Instagram Stories as well.

“I love you, mom. You did such a good job. I am so proud of you,” Bianca said.

“Words cannot express my love for you, Momma. I’m so proud of you,” Raphael wrote followed by the hashtag #macherieamour. He also shared a photo of Cherie and his uncle Mark Gil, who died in 2014.

“So happy that you’re together again.”

The passing of a great actress

The news of Cherie’s passing was initially confirmed by talent manager Annabelle Rama last Friday. Cherie’s nephew, actor Sid Lucero, confirmed the news to several news outlets followed by the family’s statement on Sunday, August 7.

Cherie, who is considered one of the country’s top antagonists, flew to the United States months back to be with her children. She granted one of her last interviews with MEGA Magazine, telling them why she decided to relocate.

Cherie has a long career in television, movies, and theater. Some of the films she appeared in include Bituin Walang Ningning, where she played Lavinia Arguelles, and Trining in Oro, Plata, Mata.
