Chrissy Teigen Is Pregnant Again After Her Miscarriage in 2020
After losing their son Jack in 2020, Chrissy Teigen announced that she and John Legend are expecting another baby.
Chrissy Teigen announced that she is pregnant once more. In an Instagram post on Wednesday, August 3, the model and mom of two showed her growing bump.
“The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again,” she wrote, referring to the IVF she underwent. “We have another on the way. Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘[okay] if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.”
Chrissy said that things are okay so far. “I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”
John on the other hand reposted the same photo with heart emojis as a caption.
A rainbow after the storm
In 2020, Chrissy posted a photo announcing that she had a miscarriage with their supposed third child, whom they named Jack.
“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough,” she wrote at that time.
Chrissy, who wrote a cookbook called Cravings, shared in February that she was undergoing IVF treatments. In March, John told People that their two children, Luna and Miles, knew they were trying to have another baby.
“They know we are trying, and they are excited,” he said.
