It’s Baby 2 for JC de Vera and Rikka Cruz! Is it a Boy or a Girl?
Actor JC de Vera and his wife Rikka Cruz are expanding their family with their second baby on the way! Find out if it’s a boy or a girl.
JC de Vera and his wife Rikkah Cruz are going to be parents for the second time! On January 14, the actor shared a short reel of a baby reveal he and Rikkah had. Their daughter Athena was also present.
In the caption, JC de Vera wrote of the reveal: “It’s a girl!”
What’s interesting to note is that during the gender reveal, it was actually Athena who had the honor of popping the balloon! Rikkah and JC made sure that she didn’t hurt herself with the mom requesting the dad to hold Athena’s hand steady so she wouldn’t drop the tiny pin. By involving Athena in the gender reveal, it tells her that even though she’ll be sharing the love, she’s still a part of the family.
Once the pink confetti fell out, JC and Rikkah’s friends whooped for joy. Even JC’s closest friends jumped alongside him, knowing how much he enjoyed being a girl dad. Several of JC’s friends from showbiz sent their congratulatory messages in the comments section.
Busy career and busy dad
JC de Vera, who recently appeared on Flower of Evil, has made sure to balance his career and duties as a father. On top of his thriving career as an actor, he is also an entrepreneur.
JC and Rikkah got married in civil rites back in 2018. They welcomed Athena months after.
In September 2021, the couple held their church wedding.
