WATCH: Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano Share Their Families’ Reactions on Pregnancy News
Jessy and Luis sat down with her family to get their initial reactions to her pregnancy plus a bonus clip of Vilma Santos’ and Edu Manzano’s reactions to the news.
Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano released a new vlog where they got a chance to talk with Jessy’s family about their initial reactions after finding out she was pregnant.
In the vlog, Jessy and Luis got to speak with Jessy’s mom Didith, sisters Pam and Meg, her dad Roger, and brother-in-law Richard.
Initial reactions from Jessy Mendiola’s family
When asked how she initially reacted to the news of the pregnancy, Didith said: “We’re so happy. We were surprised but we were happy.”
Pam meanwhile admitted that she found out about Jessy’s pregnancy from their mom. “We’re excited kasi magkaka-pinsan na sila,” referring to her two kids who are with her in Japan.
Roger, who is based in Bahrain, revealed that he got emotional over the news. “And I had it in my dream. I knew it. When you were in Dubai.”
Prior to the pregnancy, the couple vacationed in Dubai where Jessy got to spend time with her dad, too.
Moreover, Meg said that she’s excited to spend time with Peanut.
When asked what they want Peanut to call them, Didith answered lola while Roger said he’s open to anything being called by his grandchild.
Didith and Pam gave some tips to Jessy as well as she awaits the arrival of their child.
Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano’s reaction
The couple also shared some footage of the reactions from Luis’ dad Edu Manzano taken in June and Vilma Santos in May. It was clear from their faces that they were excited about the coming of their soon-to-be grandchild.
Edu was with his girlfriend, actress Cherry Pie Picache, while Vilma had her son Ryan Christian who was excited about the news, too
Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano earlier announced that they were going to have a baby girl.
Since announcing the pregnancy, Jessy and Luis have been sharing vlogs on their respective YouTube accounts. The actress and content creator is scheduled to give birth sometime in December.
