John Lloyd Cruz on Derek Ramsay: “He Has a Good Parenting Approach.”

John Lloyd Cruz acknowledges how much of a good influence Derek Ramsay is to his son, Elias.

Co-parenting is the ultimate achievement for many parents who are separated from their partners. It’s an even bigger achievement when the parent acknowledges their counterpart. In a short vlog, Ogie Diaz shared how John Lloyd Cruz revealed that he acknowledgd” Derek Ramsay’s approach with his son, Elias. “Ayon kay John Lloyd, malaking bahagi rin daw si Derek kung bakit ‘yung anak niya (Cruz) ay lumalaking responsable (Derek has a huge contribution in raising Elias to be a responsible child),” shares Ogie.

Derek Ramsay’s Presence Being A Good Thing

John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna appear to have reached a good co-parenting arrangement. Cruz also told Diaz that “borrowing” Elias from Ellen isn’t difficult. Because many believe John Lloyd to be busy, they thought Elias would have a yaya. But during Director Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz’s birthday, people noticed that John Lloyd Cruz was pretty hands-on with his son. He made sure that if Elias brought his toy rifle to play with, he would do so safely and without a ruckus.

Ogie also shared that John Lloyd Cruz believes Derek Ramsay’s presence in Elias’ life is a good thing. “Derek’s presence is also a good thing because he understands me since he is also a father himself.”

Another couple who achieved co-parenting goals!

Establishing a healthy co-parenting relationship isn’t easy especially if the breakup wasn’t. But co-parenting focuses more on how much love there is for the child and how willing one is to work with the other — especially with your counterpart in the picture. But there will always come a point when both sides will come to an understanding. Just like how John Lloyd and Derek Ramsay have in raising Elias.
