Kryz Uy’s Second Son: Welcome Home, Seven Kai!
In one of her most recent vlogs, Kryz Uy reveals her second son’s name: Seven Kai.
After three days in the hospital, Kryz Uy and Slater Young returned home with their beautiful baby boy in tow to meet Scottie. In the same vlog, Kryz reveals the name of her second son: Seven Kai. An elated household — one Kryz lovingly calls their “angels at home” — joyfully welcomed the newborn. Scottie however was still at Kryz’s mom’s house since someone needed to look after him while his mom and dad stayed in the hospital.

Scottie’s Time Away
His time away from home didn’t stress him too much as his aunt, Deedoe, and his gwama looked after him. He had some toys to play with, learned how to use a pencil sharpener, and even helped out with breakfast. Scottie kept himself busy, even making scrambled eggs on the pan. He also took a bite out of a fresh tomato! When asked if he washed the tomato, he just continued chewing it anyway.
Apparently, he didn’t like tomatoes prior, surprising his mom. “He kept asking for tomatoes,” his gwama explained in the video. “He even ate it whole!”
Ahia Scottie and Shoti Seven
Upon returning home, Scottie fit right into his big brother shoes. Now named Ahia Scottie, the little boy had a chance to carry his younger brother with the help of mom and yaya. He enjoyed seeing his little brother, sending Kryz over the moon as he repeatedly called for his “shoti”. It’s clear that Scottie is a doting older brother to Seven Kai, repeatedly asking if he could carry the baby.
He did look on with genuine confusion when his brother started to cry so, Kryz and Slater needed to step in and explain that his brother didn’t know how to use words yet.
Balance is key
Kryz shares in her vlog that so far, Scottie hasn’t shown any signs of jealousy yet which she’s extremely relieved for. However, she did mention the struggles have started. “If I didn’t have to breastfeed, it’d be easier for me to recuperate,” she jokes initially before explaining, “But we want to do what’s best for our kids. So, just like how I breastfed Scottie for a year, I’ll figure out this breastfeeding situation with shoti, too.”
Although a mom already, the joy of having a baby still doesn’t change. Once again, congratulations Kryz and Slater! And welcome to the world, Baby Seven Kai!
