Kapuso actress and mother of two, Marian Rivera, showcased Filipino and international designers during her stint as a Miss Universe selection committee member

As one of the members of Miss Universe 2021’s selection committee, Kapuso actress and mother of two Marian Rivera turned a few heads herself. Her looks from different Filipino designers and international brands even got us thinking she should have been a candidate. The mother of two was among those who saw India’s Harnaaz Sadhu crowned on stage last Monday, December 13 in Eilat, Israel.

Makeup artist Steven Doloso and stylist Melville Sy, both of who flew with her to Israel, posted some of the photos of the actress along with the details of her outfits for us to check out.

Gorgeous in white

During a quick photoshoot, Marian wore a white outfit from Australian brand Shona Joy, jewelry from Janis Jewelry, and heels by Amina Muaddi.

While she finishing her quarantine and reviewing the candidates’ bios, she wore another white outfit with the turtleneck from Loulou Studio, skirt from Fendi X Skims, and heels by Ralph and Russo.

For the Miss Universe pre-event dinner, Marian Rivera wore a white feathered dress by Steph Tan and Bulgari jewelry.

Preliminary look

At the preliminary competition held Friday, December 11, Marian sported British designer Jenny Packham’s black column gown. Jenny Packham is also one of the few who have dressed the likes of the Duchess of Cambridge.

For the Miss Universe finals, Marian Rivera proudly wore a pink beaded off-shoulder gown by designer Francis Libiran. The same designer also created Beatrice Luigi Gomez’s gown during the competition.

Marian also wore a rose pink dress by designer Ulysses Caragay.

The Philippines’ bet Beatrice Luigi Gomez ended her stint in the competition with a Top 5 finish. India’s Harnaaz Sadhu was crowned as the new winner, succeeding Andrea Meza.
