LOOK: Miel Pangilinan Celebrates 18th Birthday with Retro Theme
Miel Pangilinan’s birthday party was attended by her parents Sharon Cuneta and Kiko Pangilinan along with her siblings led by sister KC Concepcion.
Miel Pangilinan, daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta, and former senator Kiko Pangilinan celebrated her 18th birthday with a retro-themed party at the Blue Leaf Pavilion in Taguig over the weekend. The party was attended by Miel’s family, relatives, and close friends.
While the debut party channeled a retro theme, the father and daughter dance was still part of the program with Miel and Kiko sharing a dance together. Nice Print Photo was able to capture the event.
Family messages
Prior to the party, Sharon shared a sweet birthday message for Miel last September 2.
“Happy 18th Birthday to my youngest baby girl, my third princess, Mariel Daniella Sophia. Miel, you look like me, even sound like me, are like me, and so unlike me in very many different ways! I am proud of the woman you have become and of the courage you have managed to gather and display to the world. Of course, I will always miss the little girl whose world was her Mama and was always dikit to her, but as long as I know that you love me, all’s alright in my world, no matter what bad things life has and continues to throw my way every so often,” Sharon said.
“I love you with all my heart, and though my heart (yet again!) breaks at you now being an adult, leaving me with no more little princesses to dote on and one last (huge) prince who’s turning 13 soon (!), I am happy that you know right from wrong and live your life on your terms without hurting anyone as you do.”
KC Concepcion also wrote a short message for her baby sister. “Danced the night away to celebrate my sister @mielpangilinan’s 18th birthday!!! 18 is a big year for us Filipinos – of course, I flew home for this one because I wouldn’t miss this for the world. Happy happy birthday yelly!!! Ughh what a beauty!”
Coming out of her shell
Early this year, Miel made headlines when she announced that she was part of the LGBTQ+ community. Since then, her family has been supportive of her endeavors.
Miel is the second daughter of Sharon and Kiko. Aside from KC and Kakie, she has a younger brother, Miguel.
