Miss Universe 2021 Announces Members of Selection Committee

5 of the 9 Miss Universe 2021 selection committee members are not just accomplished women. They are also mothers!

The Miss Universe 2021 fever is on! The organization announced on Wednesday, December 8, the all-female panel that will determine the winner of this year’s competition in Israel.

The nine members of the selection committee are women. Additionally, they are all known for their extensive work in their various fields. Moreover, five of the panel members are mothers.

The first on the list is Filipina actress Marian Rivera. Last December 3, she confirmed her participation in the pageant. Married to actor Dingdong Dantes, she is a mom to two kids: Zia and Sixto.

Brazilian model Adriana Lima is also part of the selection committee. Known for her stint in Victoria’s Secret, the 40-year-old model is a mom to daughters Valentina and Sienna.

Up next is Adamari Lopez, a Puerto Rican actress and host. She is currently in Telemundo’s Hoy Dia. She has a daughter, Alaia, with ex-partner Toni Costa.

Rena Sofer is an American actress known for her appearances in General Hospital and The Bold and the Beautiful. She has two daughters: Rosabel and Avalon.

Last but not least is Rina Mor or better known as Rina Messinger. She was crowned Miss Universe in 1976 and is the only Israeli to win the title. After her reign, she became a lawyer, host, and author. She has two daughters.

Other members of the selection committee are Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst, and former Miss India and Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela.

In addition, the finals night will be on December 13, Manila time. The Philippines’ representative is Beatrice Luigi Gomez, who is gunning for the country’s 5th crown.
