Yup, Halloween’s just around the corner! Although trick or treating might be out of the question (no thanks to the pandemic) we’ll just have to adjust! Our top tip? Celebrate it in the comfort (and safety) of our homes with our TV, food, and drinks… and all our kiddos! So let’s Netflix it, relax and grab some popcorn with the kids and watch these new movies:
The Worst Witch: Season 4
The Worst Witch is a British-German fantasy children’s television series about a group of young witches at school for magic. In Season 4, challenges push Mildred and Ethel’s magical powers to the limit as they compete for honour. Watch the trailer here.
Why we’re excited: It presents strong, empowered female characters. It’s not really meant to be so scary so it’s definitely family friendly.
A Go! Go! Cory Carson Halloween
Are you kids into cars? If yes, then this is the perfect movie you can watch with them. Let’s join Chrissy and Freddie on their journey as they hunt for king-sized candy bars this Halloween. But are all the treats worth the trek to the spooky side of town? Let’s see.
Why we’re excited: Will Chrissy and Freddie achieve their goal of getting their king-sized treats despite going to scary places? Watch this show to find out!
StarBeam: Halloween Hero
Oh no! Greedy Captain Fishbear is stealing everybody’s Halloween treats for himself, but StarBeam and Boost have some tricks up their sleeves to save the day. What’s going to be their next move?
Find out more and watch the trailer here.
Why we’re excited: StarBeam’s superhero powers will be put to the test no thanks to Captain Fishbear!
Super Monsters: Dia de los Monsters
Get ready to witness the cuteness of these Super Monsters as they visit Vida’s home for a Dia De Los Muertos parade and meet new friends! The series is about a group of pre-school kids, whose parents are the most famous monsters, trying to master their powers while preparing for their kindergarten.
Why we’re excited: We’re looking forward to see the Super Monsters’ halloween costumers at the spooky parade. Cute!
The Last Kids on Earth: Book 3
The long wait is over! The Last Kids on Earth Book 3 will premiere on October 16. Jack and his friends make a startling discovery – that they may not be the last kids on earth after all. But whoops! This is great news for everyone except for Jack. Once they have found out about other humans, his friends won’t stick around for so long.
Why we’re excited: We wonder what would be Jack’s next move to convince his friends as they are hunted by a monstrous Nightmare King and an ancient evil who won’t rest until Earth has been devoured.
October, you’re one super cool and creepy month we can’t get enough of!
