New Family, New Year for Sunshine Cruz and Her Daughters
Sunshine Cruz and her daughters joined Cesar Montano and his new family in Bohol to celebrate and welcome New Year 2023.
It was definitely a happy new year as a new family bond was born between Sunshine Cruz, her daughters, and Cesar Montano with his girlfriend, Kath Angeles. The celebrity mom shared photos of their New Year celebration in Bohol, thanking the two for the wonderful dinner.
“Cesar and Kath, thanks for hosting tonight’s dinner. The girls and I had a wonderful time chatting and catching up with all of you. We’ve missed Bohol and masaya kami na nakasama namin kayo dito sa New Year celebration. Happy to see my dive instructor Holger Horn, too! Once again, Happy New Year everyone from our family to yours,” Sunshine posted on her Instagram.
She also posted a video of their family celebrating in Bohol.
Making time out of the busy schedule
The celebrity mom also took time to thank Diego Loyzaga, a busy actor himself, for taking time out to celebrate with his siblings.
“Spent New Year with the most important people in my children’s life. I am [the] happiest when my girls are happy. Thank you for taking us out @diegoloyzaga. Thank you for exerting effort to spend New Year with the girls Kath, Cesar, Liam, Sam, and Kristen. You guys almost didn’t make it pero God willing natuloy pa rin kayo,” she wrote on January 3.
New Family: Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano are now co-parenting
It’s no secret that Sunshine and Cesar’s marriage ended several years back. After their annulment, it took a while for Cesar to rebuild his relationship with his three daughters. Last year during an interview on Magandang Buhay, Angelina said that it was their younger siblings who paved the way for them to reconnect with their father.
“Usually we just text, and once in a while, send birthday greetings. Recently, we got closer and I feel that one thing that made us closer was our younger siblings,” she said.
It’s also truly a New Year blessing as Sunshine’s comment confirmed that both she and Cesar appear to be working on a more co-parenting setup.
Choosing forgiveness is not easy especially when it means letting go of the years that have passed and experienced. But it does open the door to many opportunities, especially for Sunshine, the girls, Cesar Montano, and his girlfriend Kath.
