Pinay Teen Zoe Gabriel Who Went Viral Online Becomes Brand Ambassador for Charles and Keith

Content Creator Zoe Gabriel, who is based in Singapore, became viral in January after she defended herself from critics who mocked her for treating Charles and Keith as a luxury brand.

The saying when life gives you lemons, make lemonade definitely suited Singapore-based Filipina content creator Zoe Gabriel. Zoe, who went viral after defending herself from critics about treating Charles and Keith as a luxury brand, is now one of the Singaporean brand’s latest community ambassadors.

The brand posted Zoe’s photo and note on its social media accounts on March 4. The ad came out in time for International Women’s Day.

In the photo, Zoe is seen holding the brand’s Alia bag. According to Charles and Keith, the bag was launched as part of the UN Women’s Storytelling for Gender Equality Programme. The campaign includes other Singapore-based staff of the brand and its models.

Zoe Gabriel: Let’s celebrate with compassion

In her message, Zoe likened women to flowers. “Our time and needs to grow may not always align, but that’s okay.”

She also reminded women to be bold and to celebrate their differences.

“This International Women’s Day, let us celebrate with compassion. Let us celebrate with equality through equity, the way flowers do.”

Back in January, Zoe found herself receiving backlash after she raved about a Charles and Keith bag she received from her father. The Tiktok video went viral and sparked discussions on the issue of what is luxury among privileged people.

The 17-year-old teen defended herself and received a lot of praise from other online users for handling the situation well. Because of the incident, Charles and Keith invited Zoe and her family to tour the head office and received gifts from them.
