Mama ELFs are Worried: Super Junior’s Siwon Tests Positive For COVID-19

Super Junior’s Siwon tests positive for COVID-19 but Super Show 9 will still push through.

Unfortunately, Super Junior’s Siwon tested positive for COVID-19. Thus, he won’t be joining the rest of his mates Donghae, Leeteuk, Kyuhyun, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, and Ryeowook for Super Junior World Tour Super Show 9: Road in Manila. However, the show appears to be continuing according to their agency as they are still in the process of planning their other overseas performances.

But don’t worry, Mama ELFs! The show will still go on!

According to Label SJ, Siwon already took the necessary precautions. Currently, he is in self-quarantine. He also canceled or moved any other appearances he had lined up.

The Super Junior World Tour Super Show 9: Road in Manila however is still scheduled to go live on August 6, 2022 at Mall of Asia Arena. While Siwon won’t be there, he’ll be joining Super Junior’s Donghae, Leeteuk, Kyuhyun, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, and Ryeowook in spirit. Something we’re sure the boys will appreciate.

Currently, all nine members are still active. Their most favored songs include Sorry, Sorry, Bonamana, and Super Girl with the subgroup: Super Junior-M.

Get Well Soon, Siwon!

For many of us moms, Super Junior was the gateway K-Pop band along with others like Girl’s Generation, U-KISS, and SHINEE. But for the ELF moms and kids out there, not to worry. The show will go on and the boys will need your support. But in the meantime, we can tide ourselves over by watching their old MTVs.
