Troy proposed to his longtime love after being together for 18 years
Troy Montero and Aubrey Miles are engaged! On Tuesday, March 22, shared photos of Aubrey wearing the ring at the beach.
“Together 18 years, Engaged 8 hours… Here’s to forever with you!” Troy wrote.
Several of their showbiz friends such as Daniel Matsunaga, Sam YG, Marc Nelson, and Iza Calzado sent their good wishes to the couple.
The couple and their kids are currently staying in Boracay.
Troy and Aubrey: The Modern Family
Troy and Aubrey are one of showbiz’s longtime couples. The two are parents to three children – Maurie, Hunter, and Rocket. Maurie is Aubrey’s son from a previous relationship.
During an interview with Modern Parenting last December, Aubrey and Troy got candid about raising their kids.
“Every once in a while, they’ll forget that we used to discipline them in the same way. So when it happens, we usually remind them that they also went through something like that. Kind of like, the way we’re talking to the younger one, we usually see the older one roll their eyes a bit. But we’re quick to tell them that, ‘Hey, you were there too. It’s just that you don’t remember.’ Then, we’ll tell them the backstory,” Troy shared.
“You know what? I don’t even know where I get the energy. It’s just there and I’m like, “Oh my God, I can do that?” Sometimes, I actually surprise myself after running around for an hour after Rocket. When you’re a parent, you discover things you can do that you didn’t know you could. With Maurie, he teaches us about everything online, and Hunter, reminds us to stay active. With Rocket, it’s like a whole new world. She has a different attitude and character; they’re not the same,” Aubrey said of her children.
