Winwyn Marquez Gets Real About Postpartum
Winwyn Marquez, who welcomed her daughter Luna, shared that she finds herself crying every now and then due to pressure.
Winwyn Marquez opened up about going through postpartum saying that she would find herself crying every now and then.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, May 15, Winwyn shared: “There are times that I find myself folding under the pressure of it all and cry for days. Pero natutunan ko that I shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help because even if I think I can do everything alone and be a super mom (like I imagined while being pregnant) with my newborn – I can’t yet.”
“Laking tulong na may kausap na kaibigan and family, laking tulong na supportive ang partner…a simple hug and paalala na nandiyan siya malaking bagay na. Sabi nga nila it will be a little easier as days go by.”
The actress gave a short message to new moms going through it, saying she would love to hug them.
“Hindi madali…madaming questions and fears pero please remember you are not alone. We can do this mama. Para kay baby, kakayanin!“
Several of her friends in showbiz have sent words of encouragement, saying that they are behind her as she goes through the challenges of motherhood and parenting.
Luna Teresita Rayn
Winwyn formally introduced daughter Luna Teresita Rayn last May 1 to the public. The actress first confirmed the pregnancy back in December.
Except for a few details, Winwyn and her partner have yet to share more about their family life.
Winwyn is the daughter of actors Alma Moreno and Joey Marquez. Aside from being an actress, she also joined Miss World Philippines in 2017. Additionally, she went on to win Reina Hispanoamericana in Bolivia.
